Since July 2024, Dhaka has become a space where movements and expressions of desire unfold rapidly, often met with suppression and conflict. The work observes how even the simplest demands can escalate into confrontations, reflecting the unspoken emotional and social weight borne by individuals.
Through the lens of a single incident during a violent protest, the film documents police dispersal, road blockades, thousands of people, fires, and the echoes of sound grenades. By framing these events with a measured observational gaze, the piece captures both the physical and psychological dimensions of public unrest. It transforms immediate, chaotic moments into a contemplative reflection on desire, resistance, and the cost of collective action in an urban environment.
